I do...I wish I didn't though--I try not too but it never works

I figure if I talk to them less---they'll just bother (aka yell at me) less...

but how do you guys interact with your parents?

haha...same here.

i never sit down with them and actually go through college processes or even just grades with them. for the most part, i usually tell my parents what's going on and they're pretty aware of everything.

i don't... they generally leave me alone.

edit: i'm supposed to be the 3rd post.

We all sit down at dinner together and talk about our days. :3

...in sometimes-boring level of detail. But it's nice.

Also, I can talk to them about ANYTHING. They're really chill about sex jokes and stuff.

Yup pretty much. I don't talk to them about college apps/school or anything though. As long as I bring home the A's they don't care.

Wow, lol. Yeah I never talk to my parents, we just don't agree on really anything and we would argue all the time. Hm, come to think of it, the other day I did try to have an intelligent conversation with my mom and she decided to start yelling?! Uhhhhh

i talk to them about school and college and stuff but nothing personal. they think they know everything but if they did theyd probably get really ****ed

Yes. I probably talk to my mom too much actually haha, we're almost like best friends since my parents separated o_O creepy.. I talk to my dad too but not nearly as much, and when I do it's nothing personal. More like small talk. Normal I guess.

I rarely talk to my parents. The times I do, I mostly end up regretting doing so, especially when I'm talking to my mom.

Once in a while.

Rarely. They know very little about my life.:)

I don't talk to my dad much, because my Chinese is way rusty and his English never really fully developed.

But I talk to my mom all the time. I tell her all the gossip from my school and about my friends' lives, and I ask her for advice and such.

nope..my mom talks to me about how many chores she's done during the day..and how many jars of pickle she's made(she's a housewife) and my dad talks to me as though i was two(does thwa wittle thing want to get me thum wata?)

they're crazy..i can't wait to get out of the house.

Yeah, I talk to them, why not?

Sums up my relation with my parents :)

Do you mean "talk to" as in discuss matters in your life and have an open line of communication? Or "talk to" as in wether or not you're on speaking terms with your parents - like Angelina Jolie having a distant relationship with her dad? I don't really have a relationship with my father - I just see him on Holidays and stuff. I'm a lot closer with my mom. Unfortunately for Hispanics/Latinos, fathers are not as present in their children's lives as they should be. But things are slowly changing and you can see a big difference with the new generation of young men in Latina America. I think this is why so many Hispanic girls go for white boys. They want good father material.
