just what I was going to mention. I didn't finish the book, but it sounded like he was convincing everyone.</p>

<p>yep it happens all the time...we had an undecover cop doing drug busts last year posing as a class member and nobody ever knew who it was even though he was much older than us</p>
<p>Um, there's plenty of people in high school who actually are 19 or 20...and there's not really an average look of a 14 year old, is there? I mean, you could be 16 and look 14, or you could be 12 and look 14...</p>

<p>I have a friend (16) who could easily pass as a 5th grader. She's petite, to say the least - around 4'7 and skinny. And she still has that little-kid-innocent look.</p>

some people are going to look really old when they are in school
some will "look their age"
and others still will look like they got on the wrong bus, the HS bus instead of the middle school bus</p>
<p>go to any college and you will find freshmen who look like freshmen in HS and
freshmen who look like they should have already graduated</p>
<p>If I had a nickel for every time someone called me a middle-schooler, I'd be a wealthy man. I'm sure I'll be able to pose as a high school senior well into my twenties.</p>

<p>I've always looked way older than I really am, so I don't know if I'd be able to do it. I babysit a boy who's about 5, and people think I'm his mom a lot of the time.</p>

my sister is 20, second year college, but many people ask her if she's a middle schooler.
there's a girl in my school who's 18 and is a sophomore (she's meant to be a senior).</p>
