Well, I guess I have a similar situation...
I'm not really a math person. I mean, I'm in AP Stats now, but my math scores have always been okay... not great, just okay. But my CR and Writing scores are very good, and I've applied to be an IR/Spanish major, which obviously would not involve much math, aside from the math distribution requirement.
I know that I focused more on my strengths than on my weaknesses in my application... so if you've shown evidence of significant achievements/involvement in math and science related activities and pursuits, I'm sure that would speak volumes and surely provide great support for your excellent math scores.
My cousin is a senior and an Engineering major at Tufts this year. She really does not like writing, and I think that her SAT's reflected that, and she still got in. Then again, things have changed a lot in terms of college admissions in the last four years, so you never know...
Obviously I haven't heard yet either, so I don't REALLY know how the admissions committees look at people like us. But I guess we'll see in a few days...!

Yeah I would think what LolaBelle just said is true, too. I wonder, though, if the percentage accepted is still the same as lib arts... Does anyone know if engineering ED acceptance rate is higher or equal?

I was surprised by how few Engineering students there are compared to Liberal Arts students. Out of the 1282 students in the last class, only 184 were in the engineering school.

it's funny, Jacksonmom, b/c I was also surprised since I know SOOO many engineers. But no, the school is pretty small and intimate (which is what ariesathena will tell you she likes about it ;-) )
