Is it worth it to put that I am a Microsoft excel and word specialist? Do they care if you are certified in adult, child, infant CPR, and operating the AED?

I don't think it will matter very much scientist. List your most important achievements.

For instance if you worked for the Red Cross or were/are a lifeguard, a lot of the certs you mentioned are required for lifeguarding and some positions as a volunteer for the Red Cross.

The Microsoft certifications are pretty cool. I wanted to be an MCSD many moons ago, but my dad convinced me not to - probably because of the money.

Definitely mention them, but don't expect a huge benefit.

uhhh.... why wouldn't they not like it?

I don't know, they seem a little trivial and if you put them they may perceive that you are desperate to fill your resume. I don't know much about those certifications though....

dude... those tests are soooooo easy.

anyway, they probably wont help because you dont have to know much. ;)

I don't think they care if you're certified as a Microsoft specialist, because frankly as a high school person in order to do projects and stuff, you are required to know how to use the programs to their fullest. Put it if you desire, but it isn't going to be the tip-factor in them wanting you.

I mean i think i'm pretty good at microsoft programs and i don't intend to put that on my applications cos tbh everyone has to be of a high standard anyway!!
