I immigrated to the United States in 2004. English is my second language.

Do you think I even have a chance based on my stats and background.

i think it all comes down to your essays and how your application reads as a whole. could definitely go either way. don't stress out about it; you've applied! finish your other apps or go have fun.

Hey metal, I think you have a good chance of getting in. I hear that Stanford considers EC's and gpa more important than test scores, and the fact that English is your second language helps explain your test scores anyways. Your EC's, especially your leadership roles in Robotics, seem really outstanding. Good luck!

I agree with funfetti... write some truly amazing, insightful essays and you're still in the running. not everyone who gets into stanford has super-genious 2300+ SAT scores, and the fact that you immigrated in 2004 will help

err, id say minimal to no chance. 1820 is kinda bad, i mean u doont need a 2300+, just a 2100+, but 1800s=not good!! I'm doing robotics too, ill be doing the BattleBots Compeition. I love robotics, and if u really do too, express this passion! Good luck!
