Do you think I can get in? :/

I really would like to attent NYU Steinhardt because they FINALLY have a public health major! I do NOT live in NY, I live in NC (I'm not sure if that affects the admissions process, because I definitely know it does for UNC and UVA).
I heard you're more likely to get in if you apply ED, but the thing is my first choice is UNC. So if I get into NYU AND UNC I couldn't pick UNC :/
Sorry this is so long!

*attend
not attent. sorry :P

If you can get the SAT up I’d say you stand a solid chance. Weighted GPA is far more important and yours is good for Steinhardt, I think you have a nice shot.

3.6 uw Gpa is not “bad”. I think you have a good chance, your SATs are pretty good right now so i don’t see why you need to pull it up unless you are super strict about bringing it up. Your weighted gpa is definitely a +. Just write some good essays you have a great chance at Steinhardt.

thanks guys!
anyone else?

annnnnnyone?

Personally, I think you’re in… you’re sats are right in their middle range, out of state actually helps, and lots of APs is good, weighted gpa is really high…you are in

So I don’t need to bring my SATs up? I’ve had some people tell me that…
But I’m not applying to Stern so I thought Steinhardt wouldn’t need high SATs.
