So Im a US citizen, and a rising senior(12th grader). My gpa is like a C (2.72) yeah Im lazy lolunweighted, but I take all honors and APs. Have like 300 Student service hours, Varsity soccer player (won states this year and gonna play again next year), played jv soccer and lacrosse, and am currently doing a summer internship in the IT department. My career goal is majoring in either economics, or business. My current SAT is 1830 but im taking it again in October. Im really trying to crack 2100 and am studying my butt off this summer lol

Now this is my main question, ever since I was young I wanted to live in Australia and I feel like college is a good oppurtunity to go. Also since college over there is three years it will also be cheaper than going to an out of state school. In the US I feel like I'll only go to an out of state school becuase I live in Md and so my only options for good schools are college park and UMBC (john hopkins is too good lol) and college park if I'm lucky. Anyways, I heard most Australian schools, like Sydney, Queensland, Adelaide, New South Wales are all in the top 100 in the world, and I'll be considered an international student and I heard basically anyone can get into an australian university as long as you pay the money because international students are a big source of money for the country.

Also after graduation it'll be easier to get a job in Australia because there economy is soo much better than ours and I eventually want to live there.

So do you think going to school at the other end of the world is a good idea? do you think I can get in, and suppose I do come back to the US, will I still get a job considering most Australian colleges are top 100 in the world?

Also if anyone's attended college there, if you could describe the lifestyle and the overall experience, I'd appreciate it

Thanks!
