I am currently a freshman in high school, and I am taking English Honors, Biology Honors, Geometry Honors, Algebra 2/Trig Honors, Spanish 1, and Theology (I go to a private Catholic School).
I am planning on taking AP World History next year, and in junior and senior year taking possibly Calc BC, Chem, Physics, Stats, US History, and US Gov(all APs). However, those are the only ones I have time for because I am very competitive in a sport, so I cant take all the AP courses. Will this hurt my chances of getting into top schools such as Ivy League?

No. Honestly, you’re fine. Don’t even bother worrying about ivy leagues and colleges until at least the end of sophomore year. Just focus on challenging yourself academically and doing activities you want to. The rest will come in due time.

As a freshman, I didn’t worry about college at all. Honestly, that helped me. Focus on doing your best, and you will find the right school for you by junior year. Maybe start studying vocab for the SAT? I wish I did that. Anyways, good luck!

It depends on your grades and test scores. Taking the most rigorous courses you can and being involved in sports is the first part of the equation. You need to excel in the courses and knock your tests out of the park in order to be considered for an Ivy League school.
