That's most of it...Any comments are helpful. Thank you!

I honestly don't think anyone can tell you if you can get in. If someone does tell you, sure, it will boost your ego. If someone says no then it will make you worry a little more. But the truth is, none of us here are on the admissions board at Cornell and our opinions really don't matter when it comes time to review your application. At top-tier schools like Cornell it really seems random sometimes. Sometimes people who have perfect scores get rejected. Sometimes people who have flaws in their application get accepted. Sorry if my post didn't help at all, I just wanted to tell you the reality of the situation. If you really like Cornell just apply and hope you'll get in because that's really all you can do (unless you have connections or donate a building or you have some Native American blood in you somewhere, of course).

Yea, I see what you mean. Part of me agrees and the other part still wants to know what other people think. I don't want a response just to boost my ego. I just want an honest opinion-- maybe about something I could work on, or that isn't coming across well in my resume. If someone said that they didn't think I would get in, I will still apply, because I know that Cornell is where I want to go. I'm just so anxious. :-)

Thanks...I have taken the SAT twice, but the CR hasn't really gone up. I'm going to try once more in November, but I'm not too optimistic. Anyone have an opinion on my chances if my score doesn't go up?

well...you can always rob a bank and donate the money to cornell....and if you get caught, then while you're on national television, tell the reporters how passion about cornell drove you to such madness

your profile is extremely similar to mine. I'll be applying to Cornell RD, and I'd like to think that I have a decent chance, and ED your chances will be even better. It's a reachable reach, if that makes any sense.

and I think your SATs will be fine, even if they don't go up. it wouldn't have that big of an impact if it was only a matter of 50 or so points, anyway. just make sure the rest of your application shines :)
