Do you think I could get into Brown University?

I’m very worried that I’m not going to get into Brown because it is my dream school.*
My SAT: 1940 i know its a little low. 690 Math 600 CR
SAT II’s: Bio: 620 Math I:690 (again lol)
gpa: 3.75
there are not many APs and Honors classes offered at my school but I’ve taken all the possible honors classes freshmen and sophmore year, Advanced Bio, honors english, honors algebra ii trig/ pre calculus junior year, and currently as a senior Im taking Advanced Physics, AP English, and AP Calculus AB.
I have done over 300 hours of community service at various locations including the library, my church, Columbia SIPA center, etc.
I am in a rigorous musical program called the Young Artists prgram, which teaches its students advanced musical theory, eartraining, as well as an instrument I play organ for about 3 years and I’ve been playing piano for 13 years. I’ve played in hundreds of concerts I’ve played for the New York City chancellor twice and played on the radio station WNYC twice.
Once again I’m really worried that I won’t get in, what do you guys think about my chances of getting into Brown? This is not everything that was on my application but these are the important things. Sorry its so long. Please be nice, thank you for your help.

Just to include more info

I’ve been mentioned in the New York Times for plYing a Grand Opening Concert at Merkin Concert Hall atthe Kaufman Center. I’ve taught piano, tutored first graders and second graders in french, english, and Math. I’ve received many academic awards including the First Honirs, Second Honors, and Principals list awards. I’ve gotten many awards for music as well I can’t remember them though. I’m in the National Honors Society, I am of Haitian descent and I can speak and write both Haitian Creole and French fluently. More on my music, I’ve played for many services for my church on the organ. I’m also in a contemporary/classical music group called Face the Music and we’ve many concerts at many venues in NYC, I forgot to mention my rank, I am 9/91.

get your SATs up. Or take the ACT, if you want.

Take the ACT, my score went from a 1950 to a 33. That way you also won’t need to send your subject test scores (because I hear a 700+ is what is fantastic).

Focus on writing about who you are, what you love, why you love it, & how you plan to further develop your passions & you will do great!

Thanks a lot! I already applied though so I can’t increase my SAT or take the ACT. But thank you anyway.

I don’t want to be mean, but you shouldn’t get your hopes up…

They won’t automatically disqualify you because of your stats because people with much lower scores have gotten in. However you’re essays and recs have to be exceptional. Your extracurriculars look good by the way. Much better than mine anyway…

Yeah, that’s a good point. And part of the reason I said that is that it’s just not a good idea to get your hopes up too much for any one college. People have their hearts broken all the time, and it sucks. Just try to keep an open mind for all of the rest of the colleges you’ve applied to, I’m sure you’ll do very well.

this belongs in the chance me section

Thankyou I appreciate your comments and jaddua don’t worry I’m not only setting my mind on this school I just want to get into Brown more than the others.

what about a 22 on the ACT?

A 22 will not get you in, sorry.

5 students were admitted to Brown’s class of 2013 with an ACT score of 22 or lower. Meaning it’s not impossible, but very very unlikely unless you bring something amazing to the table.
