I really want to go to UCLA but I'm worried I won't get in.

My UC GPA is exactly a 4.0 (I think it might have gone up a bit though from this semester's gpa)

I will have taken AP government, AP comparative government, AP biology, AP English, AP US history, and AP environmental science by the time I graduate.

I think that my SAT scores are what's going to hurt me as I have a 1760 composite. I'm going to work on that...

My EC's include Key Club, National Honors Society, California Scholarship Federation, Amnesty International, school ambassador, and two non varsity sports. I also have quite a bit of community service.

I think my essays will be good because I'm good at English.

Do you think I have any chance of getting into these schools? Thanks!

Are you identified as an ELC student? Because of the large number of qualified students applying for a relatively few spots, you would be well served to include other UC’s.
You know your SAT scores do not seem to match what one would expect with your GPA. You may wish to take the ACT and see if it scores higher.
Gluck!

Do you have any leadership positions in the clubs you mentioned? Those would help. And I agree, a 2000+ SAT score would definitely boost your chances.

work on your SAT score:) you should try out for a leader of something because being in a bunch of clubs doesn’t really matter. is it possible to take more APs because AP environmental science is not really considered important unless you are going into a major that has something to do with that.
