Do you think I have a change to appeal my financial aid suspension?

edit title: chance**

So ok here we goo...

Went to school in 2008 in Wisconsin and took 12 credits but didn't finish. Didn't withdraw, just straight up F's because I stopped going. Why? I don't know. I didn't want to be there I suppose. It was a mistake, one I'm still paying for apparently.

Turn the clock to 2012, I take a summer class in Wisconsin and pass with an A. I moved to Oklahoma and I start going to school in a community college there. I take 1 class during the Fall 2012 semester and in spring 2013 I take two classes. (Two classes being the maximum I can take in order to receive residency for the 2013 Fall semester) Does that make sense? I was in Oklahoma for a whole year taking a few credits only just so I could receive residency. And also during this time I was listed on the Dean's List.

SO, I have received residency which means I can go full time...FINALLY!! My GPA is hiking back up and is at a 2.4 but my completion rate is 50%. (I did not withdraw from any classes while in OK) I need 67% to keep my aid. Currently I'm enrolled in 12 credit hours, and I was hoping to do 18 this semester, which would definitely put me over the 50% rate.

I explained this all in my appeal, do you think I have a shot at getting it back for the fall 2013 semester?

You might want to check on “academic renewal” at your college in Wisconsin. Some schools will wipe D’s and F’s off your record after enough time/progress has been made.

Will do, thank you! But otherwise, do you think I stand a chance at having a successful appeal?

Any help, please??

I know you’re very worried and it’s hard to wait, but there’s no “help” to be had on a message board for a situation like yours. No one here knows what the school’s standards are for appeals nor how strict or lenient they are about granting them. You’ll have your answer soon enough, and that will be all that matters. Best of luck.
