critical reading is my biggest problem!!!!! i always get like 500 something at most! do you think i need a private tutor so that i can just focus on CR? (im okay with math and writing) ... if so,do i go to princeton review to get a private tutor or others?

Tutors can't help with CR. Its like asking someone to teach you how to fly- you either can or you can't. Go read something.

Acually, I got a private tutor just for Critical Reading and my score went from a 560 to a 670. So it will help, you just have to put effort into it as well. I would reccomend it, but dont go through a company, find a person who tutors SAT privately. It's a little harder to find, but its worth it.

dude don't go to Princeton Review, you'll regret it..and no tutors either cuz they cant help u with CR..you should just practice on ur own =]

i did practice! but the recent result made me feel hopeless. i have started using the 10 real sats recently and each passage, let's say there were 12 questions for that passage,i got 3 to 6 questions wrong!!!!!!!! (cuz on the ''newer'' sat,i usually got like 2 to 4 questions wrong only.....)

then i'd say go for Kaplan..it worked for some of my friends..

No, don't go for Kaplan. I agree with Azhir. Find someone who tutors SATs privately.

When are you taking test?

March...................

So you're a junior?

for you, i recommend finding a tutor that doesn't work through a prep company. Although CR is harder to help with than the 2 other subjects, a private tutor could help monitor your work and progress. And the price tag for one of these tutors usually isn't as bad as going to a prep company, so it could be worth it.
