Do you think I should try for all 100s next sem.?

Or at least most 100s. (This was inspired by the other thread about 100s, lol.) I have one A- this semester and six other A+'s, all of which could've been 100. I was thinking about making it a bit more fun/interesting and motivating myself a bit more with a goal to get all 100s--but that's a bit unrealistic, so maybe four 100s will do. What do you think?

I actually don't have much of a life so don't worry, I won't be missing out on much.

If you think I'm being a troll, just don't post--I'm not, and I don't need you to tell me that I am. If you don't like it, then just don't post.

Of course if you have something good to say, then post.

Edit: Maybe something like five 99s would be better because not losing a single point on ANYTHING is rather absurd

No, you should aim for straight for all 50s…
What the hell kind of post is that? Some of us are barely scraping by with 93s. Don’t rub it in.
Besides, colleges don’t give a fu*k whether you get a 100 or lower as long as it’s an A. They don’t see percents!

I want to do it for personal self-satisfaction, and that alone should be more than sufficient justification.

^ true. But those percents creat your GPA which DOES count.
OP, what grade are you in that 100’s can be gotten that easily? You need to

 1. Get higher level classes (Ap or IB)

Also remember colleges could care less about your straight A’s if you received them by taking the easiest courses

It seems to me that your classes may be to easy for you so amp them up a bit. An A in a lower class is nothing compared to a C in a higher level course

Well, do what makes you happy.

If going for 100s for the semester does that, then so be it.

Took a while to get that out.

I’m in six APs and a Calc class (not /technically/ AP) that covers BC material then goes on to an introduction to MVC. Also, I’m a junior.

MIT: Well, better to say it in the first post than have every other response be “BUT WHAT ABOUT YOUR SOCIAL LIFE?!?!?!?!”

Go ahead and go for it. I didn’t mean to be rude; I just sometimes don’t see the point to such goals when other, more important things could be done instead.
Why don’t you go volunteer at an elementary school or something if you don’t have much of a life? A life of service is better than a wasted life…

Go for it. I doubt you’ll be able to pull it off in essay based classes (unless of course the other people in your class are incompetent) but in math/science courses it shouldn’t be too too bad.

^^^ That is true indeed.

well you’re wasting your time to get a 100 while it counts the same as an 89.5

An A is an A. Highest grade i ever had was a 99 in 8th grade. It wasn’t worth it.

@ kiro, your teachers must be pretty lax with grading if you expect to get 100s.

“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”

(or blow up in Earth’s atmosphere, I suppose… that could be like burnout)
