<p>I am currently a second sem freshman at Upitt. I got a 4.0 first semester and have above a 3.5 this semester. I do about 14 hours of research a week and will be presenting my results soon. I am also involved with the red cross. I had solid high school grades and a 2090 on the SATs. Given that information do you think I would get in if I applied for transfer to JHU?
any thoughts, comments, and observations would be greatly appreciated!

<p>You can apply as a transfer, but I believe they accept under 20% of transfers.</p>
<p>Many very qualified HS students don’t make the cut and transfer isn’t easier, so be aware of your chances, although I strongly urge you to follow your dream and try for the transfer anyway. You have very good chances, especially considering that you have done research as a freshman, which very few undergrads at non-top-20 schools do.</p>
