<p>I'm currently a sophomore attending a public high school. I am taking difficult classes even with a health issues that have created learning disabilities this year (that are hopefully going away soon!), and I have had straight A's through high school. I was in FBLA, Spanish Club, and Key Club for both years (I was secretary for Key Club this year, but am not doing it next year and joining Model UN to follow my interests more). I won 2nd at the FBLA state competition for public speaking and am going to nationals in the summer. I also did JV cheer last year. I play softball and have been on JV both years (and am captain this year). I play for a town league in the fall and for a competitive All-Star one in the summer (we won our district last year!). I am of mixed decent, with my mom being African American. I would love to go to a top university, especially to study history and/or political science. What are my odds of getting into a prestigious school? What could I do to enhance my chances? Thanks!</p>
