I'm applying to Rhodes for fall2012 and I'm really worried that I wont be accepted, I'm currently taking a gap year, so i hope that doesn't affect me

I'm an international student from the Caribbean so we don't do AP classes but I take the hardest classes my school has to offer and this high school is the second best in the country.

Intended major: Biochemistry and French
final HS GPA: 3.75
SAT : 1850....ehhh (retook in November, expecting at least 2050)
SAT II: Bio-M 650 Chem-690 French- will sit in December (anticipating 710 or more)
200+ hours of community service
Science Club president 2 years
Varsity Swimming 4 years
Varsity tennis 2 years
Cultural Awareness Club 1 year
School Prefect 2 years

hahahaha I doubt it! Rhodes is a highly selective school and they wouldn’t just accept people just because they’re international minorities. Yea it would be a plus but if my SAT score or GPA isn’t cutting it then, no acceptance for me
.
In any case, I’m not just looking to be accepted I’m hoping to receive a scholarship. So that’s where most of my worry stems from :/

Thanks for giving me a chance guys! I 'm just waiting on my Nov SAT score, hopefully its 2100+ that way I can be a competitive applicant (test score wise)
