I took my SAT twice, my 2nd score was a 1700, only 50 pts below what they like to see, although I know many that got in with 100 pts below,(one was a 1620, best score)

I finished my junior year off on high honor roll, 3.5 unweighted GPA I believe. I took a college in high school physics class, AP US History, AP English, and regular math. (I'm awful at math).I also took Chorus, Orchestra and French 3. And gym of course. I started the year off with a C and then a D in physics and then decided that I would NOT get into Pitt with that grade, so I worked my butt off and got an A the 3rd quarter, although I finished with a 75. My teacher wrote me a letter of reccommendation after seeing how hard I worked for that A. I also got one from my AP US History teacher, who has been teaching for 40 years and is a professor at a nearby uni. and is talking to Pitt about teaching there as well.

I have been a high honor student since the 9th grade.
I'm in:
National Honors Society
Interact Club (President)
Orchestra (President)
Chorus (Vice President)
SADD
Social Committee
French Club
I volunteer year round. During the summer I have volunteered at Magee Women's Hospital (this is my 4th year) and during the school year I am a tutor for kids k-2nd, as well as an ESL tutor (I can speak Arabic)
I volunteer at a local nursing home during the holidays, as well as a church.
I have sang at the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association: District 1 Choir (nominated by my choir teacher along with 1 other girl and 2 boys).

I ask Pitt questions, I recieved a letter granting me special status (they waived my need for an essay after I visited) I also called asking if they recieved my app (I applied about 3 weeks ago, very early!)
I am also visiting for my 2nd time this week. I live only 15 mins away, and the place I volunteer at is ON campus, so it's a walk away. my mom also works at the hospital so I get 50% off tuition.

Do you think I'll get in? Everyone tells me not to worry, but I've gotten 2 Cs in college classes (chem and physics) and 1 C in regular geometry (chem and geometry my sophomore year). I know since I applied early and have a lot going for me, I shouldn't worry, people said I'm basically in but I still worry because it's my first and only choice!
Thanks!
