It's all I've been thinking about for months now. It's the reason I raised my grades and put by butt to work.
I applied today, super early. I want it more than anything. I got a 1700 on my SAT(2ND TIME).
This year (Junior year) I got a 3.5 unweighted (4.0 weighted) with AP US History, AP English, College in high school physics, and regular Algebra 2. I've been in high honor roll since 9th grade. I had a D to start with in physics, and then my physics teacher inspired me to turn things around. I ended up with an A the 3rd quarter and B the 4th, so she's writing me a letter of rec along with my AP US history teacher who also saw my progress

Volunteer year round as a tutor to k-2nd grade kids and at a UPMC Hospital on Pitt's campus where my mom works (I get 50% off tuition because she works for UPMC)
I sing for a local nursing home during the holiday season and play bingo with residents
I volunteer at a church and raise money for local needy families

All my friends and family say I'll be fine and that they would be crazy not to accept me, because they know people who had less qualifications and lower scores that got in, but I still feel shaky about it. I also got a letter in the mail from Pitt that granted me and a select group 'special status', which waived my essay and said that they'll respond to my application with a decision within 3 weeks of getting it if that means anything, Thanks!
