art is my biggest EC, yet I do not submit an art supplement?

Can you easily shoot some digital images of your artwork and copy them onto a CD to include? Unless your colleges specifically state not to, it’s not a bad idea to include an art supplement, especially if that’s your strong area. Obviously if you’re applying to art school you will need a portfolio anyway. Good luck!

Colleges don’t have time to look through all the supplements students want to send. Unless you are applying for an art program, it should not be a problem not having a supplement.

Most colleges also don’t factor ECs into admission. The few that do are places like Harvard that have such an overabundance of high stat applicants that the colleges can pick and choose from among those the students who’re most likely to contribute to creating an active, diverse class.

I’m ED at williams… I don’t intend to be an art major but it’s a strong interest of mine…the problem is that nearly all of my drawings were damaged recently and I have only a few left- I can draw more, of course, but the deadline is oct 27th and I’m trying to be realistic since I have a huge amount of essays to do, if I should try to finish more drawings or focus on my app/essays.

Students do not generally send anything tangible with respect to their ECs, so no, I don’t see any reason why you would need to send in any art samples. You could list any awards you might have received for your artwork, but that is it.

Ok, thanks
