Do you think major choice would've made a difference.

So for UCLA economics I'm required to take 2 calc classes, 1 english, and 2 econ classes as the major pre-reqs.

For UCLA Bus Econ. the major pre-reqs are the same as the econ except that you need to take an additional 3 accounting classes.

I applied for regular econ but I have already finished 2/3 accounting classes (Got A's in both and currently taking the 3rd one).

Do you think if I had applied as a bus econ. major instead on econ my chances of getting in would be higher?

Thanks!

They’re both insanely impacted and extremely competitive to get into, so assuming your GPA is high I don’t think it would make much difference
