I'm only a sophomore right now, but I'm thinking a little ahead into my future college life, so I'll step in prepared.

I am a white male, and come from the suburbs of Olympia, Washington.

As of this moment, I have a 3.82 GPA (My school weighs it on a 4.0 scale) also (Taking all honors, and 1 AP this year, for my junior and senior years I plan to cram in 3 AP courses). (It should be duely noted, that my AP course this year [AP World History] is my highest graded class, I have a 97% as of today.

I started choir this semester, and having decided that I thoroughly enjoy it, plan to take it both my junior and senior years.
I'm also in French II, and will carry the language on through my senior year as well.

However, I have no extracurriculars (I know, I've been a tad lazy). But I am starting volunteer work, and will work hard these next couple years to plant my self into the community.

So did I already screw my changes into gaining admission into the UW? (I haven't checked out other colleges, so right now the UW is my first choice, because a) It is respectable, and offers a lot of programs I'm interested in, and b), it's conveniently close to my house, only an hour away).

Also, can you recommend me some good programs to get involved in, that could be the deal breaker on my resume?

Thanks in advance, and sorry for the long post, I probably typed your head off xD,
Alexander M.
