Hi! CC has helped me - a bit. But more than that, and I'm sure for more than a fair share of other people, it has contributed to...how should I say this... much anxiety. All I can say is that I'm happy I didn't discover this long ago.

Did you ever think that the time spent on this forum, not in moderation but excessively, was a waste of your life? Did you really like reading about ubernerds PWNING other ubernerds over whoever was the biggest AP-whore?

What if all the time you were on this site was spent doing something you loved? As in, something not having to do with stressing out about college.

Nicely worded. And yes, I actually do enjoy reading about said ubernerds. It validates I'm not the only one.

Satisfaction comes when you're accepted to the schools you want and get an awesome job. Otherwise, I think many of us are bred to be ubernerds by our parents. I get in trouble for A minuses so growing up with all that pressure has just morphed me into an OCD perfectionist.

no, writergrl94, if this was what you truly loved than it wouldn't make you an ubernerd ;). Besides honorstudent's explanation, are there any other reasons why this site is so popular among this..."crowd"?
This is a ****ty argument, but if your main goal was succeeding in your college quest or whatever, wouldn't it make more sense to devote this time to sleeping or studying or something?

What makes you actually come on here?

Really I expect this thread to die soon, so I'm not hoping for an answer. Although one might be nice.
