What are my chances of getting into at least one of those schools?
by the way, i live in VA

W&M is a match and possible reach. I doubt it's a real safety for anyone. But your location is definitely a pro because they like to be diverse in their acceptance towards in-state kids. The reason why I say it might be a reach is because GPA doesn't account for everything at W&M. It all depends what type of students they are looking for this year. Good luck though.

Virginia parent here. I know several kids with your stats who got into WFU and Wm and Mary last year if your essays were good and recs OK--I would say Matches. You are OK from Virginia Beach although sometimes NOVAs don't get exactly treated equitably due to high demand and many qualified kids per school. How bad could your essays be with your writing scores? Also don't worry about that 3 in AP English with your 800 Verbal and good job on that Calc 5. Could be a plus for you in placement in courses. They are both fine colleges that offer a lot of wonderful learning opps with great peers even compared to your Reach schools. Good luck and happy outcomes.
