Do you wear shoes in your house?

You realize how cheap maid service is right? Pretty sure OP thinks he’s extremely affluent with the whole “expensive chocolates” crap, and I find it somewhat amusing.

plattsburg i tshounds like uyou have something going on like paranoia so i am not taking your opinion into consideraiton jk love u

Nope, other side. Upper West/Morningside.

LOL, I suspected it was as weird as I thought. On the bright side (for them, anyway), they still get tipped for doing zero work.

English is always appreciated.

i edited it !!!

… well u didn’t edit it right

Yeah, they ARE cheap. Still, for the amount of money they are paid, I don’t expect their antics.

Oh, and you’re a moron. You probably knew what I meant, but are just trying to elicit a reaction from me. By “expensive”, I mean RELATIVELY expensive. They weren’t Hershey kisses.

Why don’t you switch to an alternative maid service?

I’m with the people who thinks maids are sort of weird. My aunt has a maid come in once a week, and our whole DC/MD family uses the company she’s with. My aunt is always asking my mother why she doesn’t. My friend has a maid. But, we just think it’s sort of odd to have someone coming into your house like that.

upper west side morningside… thats columbia U isnt it. My cousin went there and I used to visit him once in a while.

@OP: Just ask them nicely and if they do not adhere to your wishes dont tip them. Just gotta give them an incentive to stop bringing their kids and wearing shoes.

I would hate to have a maid. I mean, it’s out of the question anyway (we couldn’t afford it), but I hate to feel rich. I don’t care how cheap maid service is (and it’s probably still out of the question), I just don’t like the feeling.

I don’t put shoes on in the morning unless I’m going out. If it’s a cold day, I usually don’t take them off, lest my feet freeze.

I always take my shoes off. I wouldn’t be able to stand a dirty floor, and I like being barefoot anyway.

I’ve never worn shoes inside a house. Asian or not. Isn’t it just a TV thing?

don’t wear shoes in my house.

It depends on it it’s cold or not. I usually wear bedroom slippers or sneakers if it is. If it’s hot outside, I wear socks inside the house. usually how that all works

So remind me how that makes me a moron again.

I usually wear socks around my house.

Nope. Imagine walking into a soiled public restroom and walking around your house in those same shoes x__x

Who uses public restrooms
