Do your parents help you with homeworK?

Sometimes they'll help me with flashcards.

My mom's a professional writer and editor, but I don't have her help me with my homework. Sometimes she'll edit out-of-school writing and help me with my resume and stuff like that. I'll definitely want her help editing my applications.

My parents are pretty good at helping me when I ask for it (I never have them do my work or anything like that, though), but they stay out of it if I don't ask for help. It's a good balance.

My parents aren't qualified to help me with homework. My mom took Algebra 1 as a senior, and I did that in 8th grade, so I don't get any math help. I sometimes tell them what I'm doing, but I don't expect any help. They help if I have a homework problem that's not actually homework, like if I need to buy things for research. But they usually help by leaving me alone. I think the last time they really helped was elementary school.

not for me, my parents have told me that i learned to read by myself and they had never done anything to teach me or help me with any hw when i was younger. neither of my parents went to college, and my dad ejaculated in the birth canal of my mom when she was 14!

thankfully they do value education as long as it's for me -- if anything associated with intellectuality is put in their face, they go nuts. and so i'm compelled to only use words as basic as the avg vocabulary of say, a sixth grader. i remember when my little sister (second grade) asked my mom for hw help, my mom shooed her away and told her to ask me. =/ that was unfortunate for her since i usually refuse to help her=p

Cant, because I dont do my homework

definetely not.. my parents got lost on my homework after like 4th grade

They help me with projects when I have to make something for science like a cell or dna model or something. My dad is a dentist so he's good at all the science stuff. And he gives (gave) me tips on how to memorize stuff in bio.

My parents have never helped me with my homework and never would, and I'm glad it's that way. Besides, I don't think I would want my parents' help with my homework. Actually, I don't think I've ever asked someone else for help with homework.

I started learning long division in 4th grade, that's about the time my parents stopped being able to help me with home work.

I do all the homework on my own because my parents do not understand it.

um..only on CC.

it seems like most kids' parents dont help with hw. my parents dont either.

No, my parents don't help me with my homework. I usually know how to solve it on my own. I've asked for help before, but they didn't know how to help me. The last time my mom helped me to do homework daily was 3rd grade.

I've only asked my mom for help on some AP bio homework(once this year) because she knew some medical terms.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHA

no.

My mom used to want to ALWAYS check my homework when I was in elementary and middle school. Now she doesn't really just because she's busy and I hate it when she checks my HW because she always finds these stupid *** little things that have no effect on anything and wants me to change it. ****ing annoying.

I will ask my parents every once in awhile about how to change some settings on Word however.

My mom used to check my homework everyday in elementary school. Now, I ask my dad for help on math every once in a while.
