<p>idk… i drink plenty with my parents [they never let me have more than two or three glasses of wine or the equivalent though], and they’re fine with that, obviously. Given the nature of my school, however [suspension on first offense, expulsion on second], and the exclusive nature of it, they’re definitely not fine with me drinking during the school year. I mean i have, but they’d beat me, shoot me, then bring me back to life so they could do it over again if they found out/i was caught. Which I won’t be because it’s just stupid to drink on campus.</p>

<p>With them or anybody else they’ve approved of as “the good sort”, they’re okay with it.</p>

<p>well they know what kids are up to, when they come home smelling like weed and beer. My parents know that I have in the past, but I don’t anymore. ;D</p>

<p>Those were the good ol’ days, and now I have to buckle down to get into a good college.</p>

<p>P.S. To those “hiding” something, I can almost guarantee your parents know. They almost always know.</p>

<p>^ Yeah they do. I got caught “hiding” something, and my parents told me that they knew I had it for a while, but only had time to search my room when I was gone to soccer practice.</p>

<p>My parents have let me drink since I was young. Never really wanted to, though. My mum grew up in a pub and alcohol has never been taboo in my household. </p>

<p>The only time I’ve ever been drunk was with my parents at a party before my freshmen year of high school. The Pistons were playing in the finals and this guy I had just met (we ended up dating) decided to do some jello shots. Um… never again, yuck!</p>

<p>Other than that, I just drink beer because I like the taste. I have asked them a few times since I was about 14 to get me beer and they’re always fine with it. Now I just ask my boy to get it. </p>

<p>My parents’ policy with substances is simple: “If you’re going to do something, try it at home first. Only do it with people you trust. DO NOT DRIVE. Oh and if you smoke cigarettes, we’ll be severely disappointed in you.”
The alcohol laws in this country are ridiculous.</p>
