Doable schedule?

EECS 311 Elect Circuits 4.00
EECS 320 Intr Semicon Devices 4.00
EECS 401 Prob Methods Eng 4.00
MATH 217 Linear Algebra 4.00
TCHNCLCM 300 Tech Comm for EE&CE 1.00

thanks!

I don’t know the EE classes much but it sounds difficult.

^ I second that.

Are any of those lab classes?
Do you really need to take that many credits?

The last two semesters I took 4 ME courses at a time and it sucked but it was doable. Those courses were lik 2 4s and 2 3s though.

I doubt 217 will be much trouble, or your 1 credit course obviously.

I mean its doable, but you’ll have very little free time I’m guessing.

I will have to take 17 credits. I can replace the math class with a social science class, but I was saving it for my junior year. Only EECS 311 is a lab class. Last semester I took:

EECS 230 4
EECS 280 4
EECS 216 4
PHYSICS 360 3

It was only 15 credits and wasn’t quite stressful (both 216 and 230) had labs. I am guessing it was easy because they were sophomore level courses. But now the courses are more of junior level. I should believe my brain has grown up to take the workload?

Actually, your next semester schedule looks slightly easier than your previous. If you were good with that no problems, then you should be fine.

That schedule will certainly be tough, but I think it is doable. 320 and 401 are not huge time commitments, but you will have pretty lengthy problem sets due every week. I haven’t taken 311, but if it is at all similar to 312, it will probably be your toughest and most time consuming class. You will probably have weekly problem sets and CAD labs. TC 300 is a joke if you have a good grasp of the English language. I have no idea about 217.

I should also say that this was the same as my schedule first semester junior year if you replace 311 with 312 and subtract 217.

Comment after a long time. This was a very stupid question in the sense that nothing is impossible. I asked the question without knowing my own capacity. So if anyone is having doubts about course load, there is nobody to ask the question other than yourself. There is nothing you cannot do if you are determined to.
