Dobie Center questions

I applied at the Dobie Center and I was wondering when is the earliest date I could move in and when would I receive my room number, find out who my roommate is, etc.

Thanks.

Does anyone know?

It would be quicker for you to call and ask, I guess.

Okay, thanks.

According to the contract, the Dobie Center opens on August 20th for the Fall Semester.

I think they’re supposed to let us know in July. By the way, let me know if anyone wants to form a study group. I’m a biochem major, and need A LOT of help in chemistry! :)

Who’s your professor for chemistry?

Laude. I’m in the “Get Figgy with It” FIG, and got put into his class. From what I’ve heard, he’s pretty good.

Apparently we don’t find out our room assignments, roommates and move in date until August!! Boooooooo :(

Where/when did you hear that? I haven’t been able to find out anything.

You’ll move in at or around the 20th, they have a bunch of summer housing for younger kids going on now. You should find out room/roommate assignments at the end of this month, as well as your RA assignment.

You were lucky to get Laude, he is by far the best “prof” for chem 301 (prof being in “” because he’s really the Dean of Undergraduate Affairs). His review sessions are phenomenal, and its pretty easy to get an A in his course.

I emailed them and they told me we wouldn’t find out until August. They’re great at replying to emails so if you have any questions, just ask away.
