Doctor Who?

Ahhhh Tardisgirl, you’re my new best friend.

Doctor Who is amazing. Enough said.

Exactly.

“What’s a synonym for awesome?”
“Doctor Who.”

“She’s a woman … and she’s a TARDIS.”
“Did you wish reeeeallly hard?”

Ooh my favorite game: Doctor Who Quotes!
“Didn’t anyone ever tell you? There’s one thing you never put in a trap if you’re smart. If you value your continued existence, if you have any plans about seeing tomorrow, there’s one thing you never, ever put in a trap.”
“What’s that, sir?”
“Me!”

“There was a goblin, or a trickster, or a warrior… A nameless, terrible thing, soaked in the blood of a billion galaxies. The most feared being in all the cosmos. And nothing could stop it, or hold it, or reason with it. One day it would just drop out of the sky and tear down your world.”
“How did it end up in there?”
“You know fairy tales. A good wizard tricked it.”
“I hate good wizards in fairy tales; they always turn out to be him.”

I’ve got a billion more (I’m even compiling a list of the awesomest quotes in Doctor Who) but I’ll wait to see what other people come up with.

Well, there’s the traditional “Fezzes are cool,” “Bowties are cool,” “Stetsons are cool.”

Don’t blink. Blink and you’re dead.

“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to effect, but actually from a non-linear, non-subjective viewpoint - it’s more like a big ball of wibbly wobbly… time-y wimey… stuff.”

“Well, I was on my way to this gay gypsy Bar Mitzvah for the disabled, when I suddenly thought, “Gosh, the Third Reich’s a bit rubbish. I think I’ll kill the Führer.” Who’s with me?”

Love that last one! Only River, right?

“There’s someone missing. Someone important, someone so, so important. Sorry everyone, but when I was a kid, I had an imaginary friend, the Raggedy Doctor, my Raggedy Doctor. But he wasn’t imaginary, he was real. I remember you! I remember! I brought the others back; I can bring you home too! Raggedy man, I remember you and you are late for my wedding! I found you; I found you in words just like you knew I would; that’s why you told me the story, the brand new, ancient blue box. Oh clever, very clever.”

I’ve only recently caught up on Doctor Who, and I just watched the last series a few weeks ago … mind completely blown about River Song.

“Doctor!”
“Master!”
“I like it when you use my name.”

OMG I just watched a couple episodes. Here are some quotes that make me cry -

“I don’t age. I regenerate. But humans decay; you wither and you die. Imagine watching that happen to someone that you— You can spend the rest of your life with me, but I can’t spend the rest of mine with you. I have to live on. Alone. That’s the curse of the Time Lords.”
-The 10th Doctor, Doctor Who, School Reunion

“Some things are worth getting your heart broken for.”
-Sarah Jane, Doctor Who, School Reunion

OH I LOVE YOU GUYS. Please keep talking about this…

I haven’t got to river song yet. I wish I had more time to watch!!!

Tardisgirl <3 you! and <3 your name!

I can’t wait for the Christmas special!

;)

Here’s a sad one:
“I’ve been looking for a word. A big, complicated word, but so sad. I’ve found it now.”
“What word?”
“Alive. I’m alive!”
“Alive isn’t sad.”
“It’s sad when it’s over. I’ll always be here. But this is when we talked. And now even that has come to an end. There’s something I didn’t get to say to you.”
“Goodbye?”
“No, I just wanted to say… hello. Hello, Doctor. It’s so very, very nice to meet you.”
“Please. I don’t want you to [go]. Please!”
“I love you.”
-The Doctor and Idris, The Doctor’s Wife

Oh, the Christmas Special is going to be amazing! Have you guys been checking the DW website every day for the Adventure Calender thing?

State your name, rank, and intention.

The Doctor. Doctor. Fun.

Hey, today I’ll watch The idiot’s lantern, The impossible Planet, and The Satan Pit. :D

The Impossible Planet and The Satan Pit are amazing, but I’m not a big fan of The Idiot’s Lantern. It’s okay, but I personally think Mark Gatiss should stick to “Sherlock.”

Yeah the Satan Pit was amazing!!
Tomorrow I’ll watch two more. At least that’s the plan.
I see “Doomsday” is close. Will Rose leave in that episode? :frowning: OMG I can’t imagine how she’ll live the rest of her life. :(

Hi All, Glad to find the fans of the Doctor! :)

When Rose leaves, you feel like you can’t bare to continue to watch without her. And then you meet brave Martha, funny Donna, and brilliant Amy, and you think, “what did I ever see in Rose?”

Ahh I adore Rose. She’s like a trusted old friend. The writer, Steven Moffat, gets you so entranced with the characters and their personalities that it’s sad when one has to go, but a new one quickly fills your heart up again. :)

Did anyone watch the Christmas Special? I CRIED LIKE A BABY. The ending was perfect.
