I haven’t seen it yet, but I probably will this summer.

@youliveandlearn: But Moffat was never the head writer for Rose…he wrote, in total, three episodes in which Rose was a companion: (The Empty Child, The Doctor Dances, and The Girl in the Fireplace). He never liked Rose and made it clear that once he took over as head writer, Rose would not be returning. In fact the only mention of Rose Tyler since Moffat took over was when her image appears as a hologram aboard the TARDIS, and when the Doctor, fearing his future, tells Dorium that he could go back in time and “help Rose Tyler with her math homework.”

The Christmas Special was brilliant and amazing and beautiful. Another masterpiece from the brilliant mind of Stephan Moffat. I can’t wait for season 7!!! And since they’re shifting the start of the season to Autumn, it looks like there will finally be an episode for my birthday, and I can have a proper Doctor Who party!

@TARDISgirl Wow, I feel stupid. I’m aware that there are other writers for Doctor Who, but I always imagine Moffat to be the major writer. Perhaps that’s why I assumed he was the one who wrote the majority of the episodes with Rose in them. I never knew he didn’t like Rose Tyler!!!

I can’t wait for season 7 either! And that’s so exciting!

@youliveandlearn: Don’t feel stupid. The first time I heard someone call the Doctor a Time Lord, I freaked out because I thought they were referencing the Titan Kronos from Greek mythology XD

Season 7 is going to be so epic!!! I heard Jack Harkness is returning!!!

Best. Show. Ever. And wait, he’s coming back from torchwood?! (btw it’s an anagram of doctor who. So clever haha) ah moffat is a genius. I’m scared of the movie, David Yates could potentially ruin the whole thing.

Yeah, he’s making a guest appearance. Well, it’s not officially confirmed, but John Barrowman said that he and Stephan Moffat were discussing it, and it’s almost definitely going to happen! And yes, they are very clever with that anagram. They used to use the anagram “Torchwood” when buying things for the show, so that they didn’t have to pay as much money as they would if they told people they were from “Doctor Who.” Also, Karen Gillan said that when she tried out for the roll of Amy Pond, they had her try out for something called “Panic Moon…” an anagram of “companion.”

Moffat is totally a genius. Don’t worry about the movie–A) it’s not yet been confirmed, and B) Moffat said that if they were to do a movie, Matt would play the Doctor, and he (Moffat) would write it.

By the way, has anyone seen “The Adventures of Tintin” movie? It was written by Moffat and it was absolutely brilliant! I saw it twice!!! I might even go to see it a third time in 3D. All my friends loved it and want to see it again. If you haven’t seen it yet, you should check it out. It was amazing.

I loved the Xmas special!!

I watched 2011 Xmas special. This is the only Matt Smith I watched and I LOVE him!!! Then I watched other Xmas ones. Does Donna show up again? she was the “runaway bride.” Was that it?

Does Rose come back? I cried like a baby on Doomsday. I love Rose! But I also think Martha is awesome.

Just watched Shakespeare code, gridlock. Love them.

Quote - (Martha, I love her. she is so pretty!) So, you’ve got your faith, you’ve got your songs and your hymns. And I’ve got the Doctor.

i missed the xmas special nyahhhh

^ You underestimate the power of the Internet. I’ve never watched a single DW episode on a telly.

@shmluza You’ve only seen Donna in one episode? She’s the Doctor’s companion for an entire season, don’t worry. The end of that season will kill you, though. More heartbreaking than Doomsday, in my opinion. (But maybe that’s just because Donna’s my favorite companion.)

@youliveandlearn Moffat’s only been the major writer for two seasons. It was RTD before him (and he loved Rose, as if that wasn’t evident).

Talking about people coming back, I really want the Doctor to at least know Jenny’s alive.

Am I the only one who really loves Amy? I heard she’s not coming back either. (Haven’t been keeping up)

^ But everyone loves Amy. I love Amy. Amy’s are cool. And she’s coming back for the first episodes of season 7.

@nomatterwhat, I loved those!
@drinkyoupretty, I look forward to seeing Donna again!

You guys, guess what I recently found out! So, Georgia Moffet is the actress who played Jenny (the doctor’s daughter). In real life, she’s the daughter of the man who played the fifth doctor. And now she’s married to David Tennant, who played the tenth doctor!

^ I’m pretty sure they have a baby. I wonder how they will react to seeing their mom play their dad’s daughter on TV, haha.

Hahahaha that would be quite interesting!

I loved Rose. but oh boy I love Martha- simply because the way she loves the Doctor. Of course there are other things - she is brave and she is so pretty. She loves the doctor but does not get the love back, while Rose did. I find Martha’s unrequited love for the Doctor extremely touching.

While I’m ready to move to the 4th season, someone please give me a spoiler - do other companions love the doctor? How does the doctor feel about them?

^ No. Amy kind of lusts after him, but mostly because she meets him when she’s a child and idealizes him throughout her childhood. The Doctor’s clueless until she kisses him. Then the writers decide to kill Rory at least once each episode and Amy realizes she loves him.

Then there’s River, but you’ll get there soon enough.
