Doctor Who?

I like Matt Smith. Maybe not as much as DT, but he was a great replacement. I feel like the storylines are better now, even if it they aren’t as fun as the RTD era.

I hope that DW gets a new spinoff series! Torchwood died with Ianto, and I think that there is potential in the Teselecta. Time travelers trying to make sure histories greatest criminals pay for their crimes? I’d watch that any day.

I re-watched “Christmas Invasion”. It’s so funny at times, but I teared up because I miss DT so much.
I just have to quote him -
(when asked who he really was by Sycorax) “I DON’T KNOW!” OMG it’s funny…

I really like Rory…

I love the music in DW. Sometimes I re-watch an episode, just to see how the music fit in the scenes.

I love Rory. He was the only character I truly cared for when I started watching S5. It’s so weird because I love Amy and Eleven (and River, I’ve had so much love for her ever since A Good Man Goes To War) now, too, but Rory was who I held onto at first.

And yes, Murray Gold is awesome.

Which piece (music) is your favorite, SHMLUZA? I know it’s hard to pick one, I love many pieces. I absolutely love Gallifrey. That part, when the Doctor was holding the Master, played by English horn. Isn’t that awesome?! It makes me cry every time I hear/see it.

Having not been on HSL since coming to college, I’m very sad I’ve missed this! The theme is my ringtone, lol. David Tennant and River Song make the show for me.

I LOVE Gallifrey!!! But playing it with the piano doesn’t really sound well - it needs an orchestra. I love to play M. de Pompadour and Doomsday. they have melancholic beauty.

hey come on people…

Thoughts on the new assistant?

^ I really wanted another WOC. :frowning: Alas, it’s Moffat. Can’t judge her before I’ve seen her act, though.

I love Doctor Who, oh my god. Hello, new friends!

Highlight of my summer was the ‘Doctor Who Day’ I had while in London. (I’m from Florida.) The DW Experience, The National Gallery to see some van Goghs, and then Much Ado About Nothing with David Tennant and Catherine Tate!

OMG daylight you make me so jealous!
So did you see what the Doctor did to Vincent? Oh I love that episode!

I always find it rather unfair when internationals have seen more of london than me, despite living only an hour away :frowning:
Espeially when I hear about olympic tickets…

About Olympics - Will the Doctor run with the torch? (re: Fear Her.)

I just watched the episodes with the gangers. They are so awesome!

Oh yeah nomatterwhat, I love those two episodes. Rory is so awesome.

@UKgirl23

I think the new assistant seems sort of dumb from interviews, but could be totally fine when acting. She is pretty, and I hate that that’s important to me, but the Doctor deserves it!

Oh my God, I’m not alone. I love Doctor Who, but all my friends think I’m a freak.

@shmluza That’s my favourite episode actually. Van Gogh has always been my favourite painter too, so it’s just perfect!

Does anyone like Sherlock?

Sent from my SCH-I500 using CC

Yes I love Sherlock!!!

I’ve been thinking about the relationship of the Doctor with his companions -

Rose - they love each other, it’s romantic love, it’s ideal if they were both human. Unfortunately, the Doctor is not human. They can’t spend their lives together.
Martha - unrequited love: Martha loves him, but he loves her only as a friend. That’s why Martha was hurt and left.
Donna - good friends. very good friends. both sides don’t have romantic feeling toward the other, which is ideal.
Amy - she has faith in him. Her love to the Doctor is like a religious person’s love to God.
