Docufide????

Aside from a few individuals, my school is no help when it comes to the admissions process, so much in fact I'd say they are a hinderance. From what I can tell this isn't normal but my school would not send any transcripts to any schools accept for the local university. As of the end of the 1st quarter, my school stopped sending to even the local school. I recently found out that they will not even let you get a transcript from the registrar to send yourself, instead you have to send it online via docufide.com for $5 a piece. I checked online and under each one of my schools it stated that they do not accept online transcripts, as expected. Even after telling the registrar this information, she refused to give me a transcript and demanded I give her the schools' numbers, like I have them on hand. Sorry for the huge vent but I am so ****ed at my school's complete lack of help for people not going to community college or the state school. Anyone else have to deal with this crap or Docufide?

I think you are ok...according to docufides website, if a college will not accept an electronic version they receive a hardcopy.

"For colleges not yet ready to go electronic, Docufide
prints each transcript on the same security paper that
colleges use for their own transcripts."

Altho, I agree that the $5 fee is a ripoff -- our district uses docufide as well, and, I complained that the district should pay the costs since it reduced THEIR paperwork and staff time.

^ I know I'm going to get my transcipts sent, either by complaining and getting them myself or submitting and getting screwed with the $5. I agree that the districts/schools should pay for it, I mean my registrar doesn't do anything, every time I go in there she's on ebay. She gets paid a salary for what exactly? Especially now that we can't even send them in ourselves.
