I don't know if this is a problem or not, but when I log into the Document Tracking Site, it says "No Applications found.".

Isn't the site supposed to state at least my application (I submitted online a few days ago)?

I know it takes a couple of weeks for them to match documents to my application, but there should be a reference to whether or not the UG office has received my application!

My son was missing some items that had been sent before the deadline. I called and was told not to worry, but that I should call back 11/9 if it is still not listed. The admissions person I talked to made a note in the application about my having called and having told them that the item (teacher rec) was sent before the deadline. They said they have to scan in all items received, so I imagine that is quite a heavy task. But, it does make one nervous when it is passed the deadline and the application appears to be incomplete. I hope this helps!

I also had my teacher send in my teach rec over 2 weeks ago. I think it was sent a couple days after my counselor stuff was sent. But it remains the only thing missing on my umd list. Should I just wait it out? By what date should I start panicking/do something about it (like call them or have my teacher send in another one)?

I went ahead and called admissions about the the missing teacher rec. They were very nice and put a note in the file that I had called, hopefully to make sure my son’s application would still be considered “timely”. Being the nervous type, this made me feel a little better. It wouldn’t hurt for you to call over and get a note in your file, too. I read somewhere on the website that it can take 3 -4 weeks (yikes!) to get everything scanned in. That also gave me some comfort, but that Nov. 1 deadline is a real killer.
