Hey everyone,

I have a question. I found this same question kind of asked a few pages back, but I still have a little worry. As you know, I am re-applying for the Class of 2011. My understanding is that the DODMERB physical is good for two years. However, I was told that there is a form that you need to get filled out to state the status of your current health. I found the form on DODMERB's website and already filled it out. Before I sent it though, I decided to call DODMERB and make sure I needed to send it to them @ the Air Force Academy, etc. They told me that they had not been given my name from the Academy yet and that they didnt even know if I needed the form. So, as you can probably imagine, right now I am very confused and unsure of what to do. I was thinking about just mailing the form to DODMERB anyway. Any ideas? Thanks a lot!

I am in somewhat of the same situation as you. I am a pervious candidate from the c/o 2009. I was having the same problem you are; receiving conflicting suggestions from many different people. I finally called DODMERB and I believe this will answer your question:
The physical is good for two years. But that is two years to the day that you took your physical the first time (as if it would be any different haha). My physical, which I took back in 2004, actually just expired yesterday. So, in my case, I have to do the entire process over again for it to be current when the admissions board views my app. I’m not sure if you're a re-applicant from 2010, but if you are, you should just be able to fill out that form and be good to go. But if you're from an earlier class (such as me) you'll have to do it all over again. Hope this helps!
