Alright well I just figured out how to access my DODMERB website and it says

Agency: US Military Academy
Admission Status Change Date: 4-MAR-2009
Current Medical Status: Qualified (as of 07-JAN-09 )

I received my letter of "full qualification" early January. Does this mean I am now appointed because of the recent status change?

I HOPE SO!

Oh btw, my regional commander said if I wasn't my MOC district winner or didnt get in off the waitlist he would offer civil prep scholarship-- would my status change for that?

For AFA, my admission status change date reflected some date in June. Then it changed to 23-FEB. My offer of appointment arrived that Thursday. It is possible that the change was administrative, but more than likely, it is time to start looking at the mail!

I heard they don't offer civil prep scholarships until after May 1st, if thats true that means I've been either rejected (very unlikely; went on candidate visit and heard good things) or accepted!

GetMeOOS,
Civil prep offers can be given prior to May. I know of at least one person already offered this option this year. My son received his civil prep offer in early April 2006 (he is now USMA c/o 2011).
