Some of the schools I'm applying to need 3 SAT subjects (Harv./P-ton). I took lit for kicks but got a crappy score: 680. I have 3 other tests (chem ,math IIC, bio) which are all at 770....

Now, schools see all scores, so should I retake lit? I have an 800CR, but do you think colleges will see it as a fluke next to my Lit score? (i took lit 2 times...first time got 610 :S)

Lit is an extremely tough test...at least in my opinion. I'm retaking it in January and got a 610 the first time too. It's not a deal-breaking score.

I hate to have to say it, but the lit might hurt...

Because the 680 seems out of context for your other scores (especially if you have strong AP scores in AP English language and composition and in AP English Lit and grades in AP english classes), they might not frown on it.

I got a 5 on AP English Language, As in English since sophomore year, and an A currently in AP English Literature...and a 610 in Lit SAT II. Most of my friends at my school can't break 650, so I'll assume it's something to do with my school. Nevertheless, I hate that test.

they only look at your top three scores so i don't think it matters. you can take the test again if yo want but i don't think it really matters.
