I want to go to a college like BC, Vanderbilt, Georgetown, Bates, or another school at about that level. I got a 660 on the Bio SAT 2 and I was wondering if this score helps, hurts, or doesn't affect my chances at getting into one of these schools?

hurts a little

those are competitive schools

no, bio SAT is bull!!! a 660 on bio is excellent, don't worry

i know a lot of people who got 700+

i think its around average for the schools your considering

it's 75th percentile

i know 75 percentile isnt awesome, but is it bad enough where bc (my first choice) would actually not accept me because of it? or even make them say we would like this score to be higher? im only a sophmore so its my first real standardized test.

vitaminwater,
not bad for a sophomore! Ideally, you will want 2-3 scores 700+ for the schools you are looking at.

not bad, most top schools say high 600s is nothing to worry about. also, all of those schools may not require SAT IIs. try to raise them if you can, but a 660 will def. not kill you. and esp. at those schools, a 660 will not be too low.

ok thanks for the help! i wasnt sure when i saw a 660, i didnt think it was terrible but i was hoping for the 700 range. thanks very much.
