Does a B ruin the transcript?

I am a junior, attending the top public school in the region. I earned A’s all freshman and sophomore years, taking honors classes whenever available. This year, I am taking 4 AP’s, 1 dual-enrollment class, 1 honors, and 1 normal. The AP’s and projected grades are as follows:
AP US History: 85
AP Statistics: 90
AP Biology: 94
AP Language and Literature: 90

Does the 85 in APUSH ruin my chances with highly competitive schools, such as Harvard or the University of Chicago?

No. One B will not kill you. Relax, and keep doing you.

^ agree. try to get an A if you can, but if you can’t, don’t worry about it. it’s not going to ruin your chances :slight_smile: (I got into UChicago with a B junior year)

I have and 83 as 50% of my final grade, so it will be very tough to get a 90, as I’ll have to get a 96.5 to achieve that 90. I’ll sure try though!
