Does a C- count for academic renewal?

I have a few C- from a few years ago that I would like to retake. I can’t really find a direct answer on this one but does a C- qualify for academic renewal from a CCC? I have read in some places that if your old CC counts a C- as a 1.7 not a 2.0 then the C- isn’t passing and can be taken for academic renewal and I have read in other places that if you have gotten a C- or better you cannot retake the class.

Thanks in advance.

Yes

Thanks for the reply. Do you have any links where I can find more info on this? I have tried the UC transfer website and others but have only found the general C or better info.

As long as your CCC factors a C- as below a 2.0 (which it should) you can retake. Trust me.
