Does a C kill?

<p>My very good friend from my previous highschool got a C in an advanced maths course recently, and he is literally pulling his hair out. I have tried to calm he a little - but he is got getting it off.</p>

<p>Do you think that a C would get him rejected? This is the only C on his transcript and he has had As in Maths and Science throughout.</p>

<p>I hope to cheer him up with any positive signs here. (Be honest, though)</p>

<p>Is it 3.75 weighted or unweighted? I don't have one, but would an F as a Freshman kill chances? Do they really not look at all?</p>
