<p>Does a foreign language minor like Spanish, with the opportunity to practice here in California, generally make a person fluent?</p>
<p>And if you have a minor, as a transfer student, do you have to worry about completing additional prereqs prior to transfer?</p>
<p>as to question one I’d say yes it COULD make you fluent, but that is only if you DO bank on the opportunity to practice with fluent speakers. I find that speaking with fluent speakers of Japanese, after my initial 3 semesters, teachers me so much and answers so many questions.</p>
