Does a graphing calculator really help for SAT?

I am using TI 30X pro scientific Calculator. Is this good enough?

I think that the scientific calculator would be fine. The graphing calculator can be useful for graphing and more easily stowing variables but from my experience, the only kind of math that you have to use a calculator for is when you have to multiply by pi or divide big numbers which you can easily do on a scientific calculator. Personally, I would use a graphing calculator if you have one.

If you have a graphing calculator, you should use it, especially if you are a visually learner. You’ll be able to do all the math with your scientific, but sometimes it’s nice to be able to graph things. Basically, use one if you have one, but don’t go out and buy one if you don’t, because you’ll be fine.

A Graphing calculator can save you some time on some problems… if you know how to use it well.

But on a number of problems a scientific calculator can be quicker.

Use the one you’re more comfortable with. You’ll be fine.

Even for purposes where t e use is the same as a scientific calculator a graphing one is nicer to use.

What about sat 2?

@Chiragqatar

A graphing calculator is essentially necessary on the SAT Subject test Math level 2. I strongly urge you to use one on the real test.
