does a low SAT II Lit score undermine a good CR score?

I got 700+ twice and one 800 for my CR. I just screwed up my SAT II Lit. would it undermine my 800 CR score in the eyes of the adcoms?

Not really. They test two different things. One tests how much you comprehend
what you read. One tests how well you can analyze what you read with regards to literary devices, themes, etc.

I don't know the answer to your question, and I'm not sure if this will calm you at all, but I got a 790 CR, took Lit and left thinking I bombed and ended up with a 770. So maybe you didn't do as badly as you thought :)

i had the same problem, except with math. i was kind of worrying about it, then i stopped.

Right now, i am totally of the mind that my SATs don't matter anymore. ahhhhhhhhhh the perks of second semester senior year.

ahhhh... thing is, salpert i got low 700s on practice tests. and i feel i did even worse than in my practice tests.

anyway, salpert, did you take lit classes in school? cos i didn't. thats the big difference between you and me.

lit is different from CR
