Does a slight drop in difficulty of Senior year courseload affect admissions? D:

Junior: (5 APs/Honors)
AP Calc AB
AP Chemistry
AP U.S.
Honors English
Honors Spanish 4
Band

Senior: (4 APs/Honors)
AP Calc BC
AP BritLit
AP Econ
Honors Physics
Band
P.E.

The class conflict was between Band and AP Government and I opted to drop Gov because I love band too much =[ In addition, the random "P.E." was put in because I haven't finished my P.E. requirements yet.

Should I be worried about the drop in the number of APs/Honors courses? It kind of looks like I'm regressing with the P.E. and Band classes.

Colleges understand that PE is required, and I'm sure they'll also understand why a dedicated band-er wouldn't want to quit senior year.

Depends...I got into 2 top-15 schools with nothing but english as a core class listed on my senior year schedule, but rejected from the other 2. Take it whatever way you will.

So should I put into the "extra space" explaining my circumstance or is it not necessary?

If you really feel like you've got to explain it, go ahead.

I really don't think it will be seen as an issue at all, though....
