They say decisions will be released by the 15th, so they have time. Agora is very weird about updating too. I’d say that (almost surely) the links = acceptances, but if you don’t have the links yet it’s not necessarily a denial. They don’t update every account at once…

Based on previous posts, though, not everyone has it…

i didnt realize what everyone was talking about, like where to find these mysterious links or whatever, and then i realized it was under application status (a momentary laspe, i guess) but then i dont have them there anyway lol

i really hope it doesnt mean those who dont have them are not admitted

I will report an interesting twist. I checked S’s Agora this morning around 11:00 est and it had been updated to say exactly what Jorr08’s post said. After reading Chrism1225’s post I just re checked it @ 2:45pm and it now reads the same way ChrisM1225’s post reads. I think the moral of the story is not to worry too much about Agora. BC may be in the process of updating but who knows I think at this point it is nothing but speculation. Good luck to everyone and you’ll all know for sure in about a week or so.

Thanks laxdad. Your experience has made me…and I am sure many others…feel better about not seeing that interesting language at our childs account!

I just talked with an admissions officer, and apparently the decisions won’t go up on agora at all. it’s letter only, so it’s pretty safe to say these are just updates and nothing more

If that’s true, then why did they appear early for accepted students in March? And why would they take them down afterwards? And why would some of us get it and some of us not?

They were supposed to put that info up a couple of days/weeks after letters arrived. That way, accepted students could start the enrollment process…

This website is very eye-opening for me. I’d always thought of the college admissions process as something very exclusive to the student - a sort of step up in individual responsibility. But parents checking their students’ Agora accounts to see if the forms have been received, and worrying about acceptance - it’s incredible! My parents can’t even keep the schools I’m applying to straight - confusing BC with BU and UPenn with Penn State. I had to write down a list for them because they kept getting mixed up.
I’m not criticizing anything, I’m just nothing the difference.
