<p>So I submitted my application to Amherst (Regular Decision) a few days ago, but I never got an email confirming that they had received my application. Is this normal? Do they send one once I send my SAT and ACT scores? </p>
<p>They will send an email confirming that they have received it but it may take a few days. Mine took 4-5 days to come, and it probably takes even longer for the college to process materials in the regular decision period. I was planning to contact them if I hadn’t received a confirmation within one week.</p>

Has anyone else received an email recently? I sent my application on Dec.30 and it’s the only school I haven’t received any info from yet.
@fritzitty: I got mine about ten days after I submitted mine, so I wouldn’t worry too much at this point. The admissions people might be on break still, and they will have a backlog of applications to process. I would definitely call/email them if you don’t have it by the end of this week, though.

I don’t have my email from Amherst yet either, and it’s been 15 days. Starting to get slighttttly worried. :-S
I checked on Amherst’s site after concern over my application. Turns out they’re closed (the admission office) until the 20th! So even though it’s annoying, I wouldn’t really worry until then (it says explicitly on the site to not to contact the office until after the 20th). It’s so hard waiting though!

I sent in my app on Dec 27th or so and just got portal and account info today. They should be coming out soon for you guys, if you haven’t received them today already.
