I am a senior and I got F in AP physics first semester and now I got admitted to CSULB and CSUDH.
So is F going to mess my admission eligibility and get rejected from them.
Or they going to consider it as an extra elective class and not from the A-G courses because I already took regular physics last year and got B
I assume that you sent in your mid-year transcript AFTER you got accepted at CSULB and CSUDH?
Contact the schools. Cal states usually require you pass all a-g courses with a C or higher Senior year. Be proactive and find out now what you need to do. Once they get your final transcripts in July, it may be too late.
This is from CSULB’s web site:
Offers of Admission made to first-time freshman applicants are almost always provisional as application is normally made while still attending high school. As a result, admission offers are provisional until the following conditions are met:
Completion of all senior year courses with a grade of “C” or higher.
Completion of all CSU A-G subject requirements with a grade of “C” or higher by the end of the Spring semester prior to enrollment.
Graduate from High School by the end of the Spring semester prior to your enrollment.
Failure to meet these conditions will result in the rescinding of the admission offer which will prevent enrollment. If enrollment is desired in the future, a new application must be submitted for that term and applicants must meet all of the admission requirements in effect at that time…
You need to notify them. They will decide how much that affects your admission. They might just put you on academic probation to start. I would work on getting the final grade up to a C.
