When are the scholarship mailed out?

i think in march for everyone

I got scholarship with my acceptance.

ModernChem, what was the specific scholarship that came with your acceptance?

In the interest of doing things out of order: D got a scholarship notification, but has not received a mailed acceptance yet (hasn't checked online). I assume that if she got notified re a scholarship then she probably has been accepted. Right?

I still haven't gotten an official acceptance letter yet but a couple of days ago I did get a big packet from the honors people informing me I had been awarded the President's Endowed scholarship as well as the Merit Plus scholarship for natl merit semifinalists. Maybe that counted as my acceptance letter? I dunno.

did any non-nmsf get any scholarships?

i havent got any yet, maybe its only for national merit semifinalists

thats wat i was thinking 2

I got national merit + school specific + presidential = basically a full ride!

It seemed like all of mine were stat based tho, so maybe there are more to come based on essays?

What is "school specific"? You may also get the Keys to Aggieland scholarship. That's $1,000 for your freshman year and it came from the Financial Aid dept. (although we did not fill out any FAFSA forms). That came for my S in April or May.

I got a 1000 per year mechanical engineering one.
thats the school specific one

I heard that non-nmsf get only little or none scholarship.......is that rely true?

^ Oh, man, I hope not. Where did you hear that?

A classmate last year got a good scholarship for being the "first generation college student" (Not that this really applies to me). Can't really remember when he received the scholarship, but I don't think he was a nmsf.

I heard it from a couple of my friends who are @ A&M.....lol
D:

i got a 32,000 dollar scholarship to uvm. it came with my acceptance letter but i did not go

where did u go then?

that was kind of a random post j-hobbs....

and a few of my friends at school who were not nmsf got scholarship (small, like 1000-5000 one time) with their acceptances. But I think most of them turned in their apps pretty early

i went to harvard...no joke. but the uvm application was a special one i got as an email and just applied bc it was free and did not want anymore spam from them saying "the deadline has been extended until dec. 1 apply now". harvard was a good deal with their new financial initiative program at that time, which applied even though my parents make 750k a year.

What school is uvm?
