Does anybody have pictures of the inside of the dorms?

preferably Jester and San Jacinto....

I want to see if Jester is really that bad cause I'm getting a little worried about everyone saying not to live there.....

the virtual tour will give you a 360 degree view of a room in each dorm

thanks...

but can anyone see if that picture of a Jester dorm is pretty accurate? it doesn't seem too bad to me...

yea i see what you mean. I stayed at Jester for two nights but my only complaints are a small bed and an even smaller desk. but the one in the virtual tour is pretty accurate. no pics though :(

Cool. U gonna be a freshman at ut next fall? Where r u going to stay?

Everyone who gets a room on campus will stay in Jester at orientation so you can get a look at the rooms then. I brought stuff in and out of my daughter's orientation room and I remember thinking that the room itself was not bad at all. Kind of a typical dorm room, with a pretty decent amount of storage. The on-line photo is true-to-life.

The mattress part of the beds can be pushed back a bit to make the bed more like a couch. There are big storage drawers built in under each bed; the beds don't have legs.

Wouldn't waiting till after orientation to make a decision be a little too late?

Or does paying the $50 give you priority over everyone no matter what date you choose your dorm?

I think that the early registration sessions are before the deadline for switching your dorm room choice.

yea, i'll be a freshmen by fall. so far, my first choice is Prather with Brackenridge at second but I never seen the dorms personally so all my choices are based on the virtual tour. and yes, after you pay the $50, your housing priority is set.
